Vic: Trial starts for man accused of shaking baby

A Melbourne court's been told a 13-month-old boy died from severe head injuries ..

consistent with being shaken or hit with a blunt object.

Prosecutor GAVIN SILBERT .. has told the Victorian Supreme Court MAXWELL JAMES WEBSTER
was admitted to the Royal Children's Hospital in September 2004 .. unconscious and with
major head injuries.

Hospital staff also told the court they found evidence of an older injury to his head.
