slinging by Labor and the Liberals by switching off both parties.

She says the behaviour of ministers in the two major parties over this week's Groom
GST controversy points to a dirty election campaign.

Senator STOTT DESPOJA says the mud slinging has started early but voters are becoming
cynical and disillusioned and are looking for alternatives.

She says the Democrats provide that credible alternative.
